Destination Sol
Destination Sol is an open-ended space game, with both arcade and RPG elements combined. Explore, gather, trade, fight and upgrade your way across the universe, doing things your own way. What sets Destination Sol apart from most games of this type is something I really like: the ability to land on planets and explore them too. Most games like this focus on the open space and the only thing you land on is space stations. Planets are simply left as background. But not so here; there are even several different planet-types to find and explore. There are also six different ships to use and over 50 types of equipment - budding space explorers should find something fun to do!
