Birth of the Empires

I just found a game I hadn't seen at all before, called Birth of the Empires. The page is in German, but it seems to be a bit like Master of Orion and the Free game inspired by it: FreeOrion. It looks very well made and seems to have come far in development. Finding the latest version took a bit of searching, but the alpha 7 here seems to be it. Version for Linux, which I was looking for, is here.

Lots of startships and planets. Classical 4X. :D
