JVGS

Platform games are another favorite genre of mine, and I'd love to see more open games of that type. Among those available, JVGS is one of the most interesting! While very simple both gameplay and graphics-wise, it has a very interesting concept: it feels like playing a web comic. If you've read XKCD (and you really should!) you will feel right at home with JVGS design, and playing it is certainly an interesting experience, especially since the game has a narrative which is always part of the background, so the story just flows along as you play it.
