UFO: Alien Invasion is a squad-based tactical strategy game, where you move your team of earth-defenders around in a turn-based fashion trying to get the upper hand of your enemy. This is in the game called the Tactical mode, and to complement it there is also a Geoscape mode which is more about base-management, researching and that sort of strategy. This creates an interesting mix that should appeal to all types of strategy fans. Missions have varying objectives and there is even an over-arching story to enjoy. Certainly a well made game and worth a try!
